Den internationella rymdstationen:

NASA USA: R. Shane Kimbrough was selected by NASA in 2004. He completed his first spaceflight in 2008 on STS-126, where he spent almost 16 days on the mission to expand the crew living quarters to accommodate a six-member crew. During the mission, he performed two spacewalks.

NASA USA: Megan McArthur was selected as an astronaut in 2000. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles and a Ph.D. in Oceanography from the University of California, San Diego where she performed research activities at the Scripps Institution of Oceanography. McArthur served as a Mission Specialist aboard STS-125, the final space shuttle mission to the Hubble Space Telescope.

NASA USA: Mark T. Vande Hei was selected by NASA in 2009. Born in Virginia then raised in New Jersey and Minnesota, Vande Hei earned a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Saint John's University and a Master of Science in Applied Physics from Stanford University.

ESA, Europa: Thomas Pesquet was selected as an ESA astronaut in May 2009. He joined ESA in September 2009 and completed basic training in November 2010. After graduation, he worked as a Eurocom, communicating with astronauts during spaceflights from the mission control centre. He was also in charge of future projects at the European Astronaut Centre, including initiating cooperation with new partners such as China.

Roscomos, Ryssland. Pyotr Dubrov began training at the Yuri Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Center on 29 October 2012. He graduated from cosmonaut training on 15 July 2014.

Roscosmos Ryssland. Oleg Novitskiy was selected as a cosmonaut in 2006.Between February 2007 to July 2009 he completed basic spaceflight training and passed state exams with excellent grades. On August 1, 2009, he was qualified as a test-cosmonaut by the Interdepartmental Qualification Board, and between August 2009 to March 2010 he took the ISS advanced training course.

Japan JAXA. Akihiko Hoshide started NASDA's Basic Training program in April 1999 and was certified as an astronaut in January 2001. He then participated in ISS Advanced Training, while working on development of the hardware and operation of the Japanese Experiment Module "Kibo" and the H-II Transfer Vehicle (HTV).

Kinas rymdstation:

Nie Haisheng, Liu Boming och Tang Hongbo är uppe och monterar Kinas nya rymdstation.
Space News: Shenzhou-12 and its crew of three launched on a Long March 2F from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center at 9:22 p.m. Eastern Wednesday.

The spacecraft docked with the Tianhe space station core module at 3:54 a.m. June 17, six hours 32 minutes after launch, the China Manned Space Engineering Office confirmed.

Astronauts Nie Haisheng, Liu Boming and Tang Hongbo will spend three months aboard the 16.6-meter-long, 4.2-meter-diameter Tianhe (“harmony of the heavens”) module.

Shenzhou-12 mission objectives include extravehicular activities using EVA suits delivered by Tianzhou-2, testing performance of a large robotic arm and verification of a regenerative life support system.

The crewed mission is the third of 11 launches planned for the construction of the three-module Chinese Space Station. The Shenzhou-12 docking was also China’s first autonomous rapid rendezvous and docking while carrying crew.

The outpost is currently in a 375 by 385-kilometer altitude orbit inclined by 41.5 degrees in order to be suitable for visits from Jiuquan.
